How the tracker tab works
The extension's background script intercepts every outbound network request as the page loads. Requests are matched against a blocklist of known tracker domains — analytics providers, ad networks, pixel vendors, fingerprinting services.
The live tab shows each request in real time: URL, category (Analytics / Advertising / Social / Fingerprinting), and whether it loaded before or after a consent interaction. This makes it trivial to spot consent-order violations — trackers firing before the user has accepted anything.
Coming to Chrome Web Store & Firefox Add-ons
The extension is currently in review with the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons. Once live, you'll be able to install it in one click. In the meantime, developers can load it unpacked in Chrome developer mode — see the instructions on the extension page.
